 I did another videooooooooooooo.

No, don't click away. I know people don't read the posts about YouTube videos for some reason, and I'm not sure why? I mean, videos are awesome? If you know why please tell me so I can fix whatever the problem is!


Anyhoo, I thought it would be fun to try the whole trend of 'what I'd wear if I was in X book', because it sounded super fun! I roped my sister into it, and we took a whole morning last week to vlog and film that video. So here it is!

I've already done  10 Underused Concepts in Sci-Fi  and  12 Underused Creatures in Fantasy (click the titles to go to the posts), now it's time for historical fiction to get the spotlight. I don't write a lot of historical fiction myself, but I know there are a lot of historical fiction writers out there! These settings can also be used in a historical sci-fi novel, in a steampunk novel, or even for a fantasy setting. So this is applicable to almost everyone! So on that note: Idea list: activate! The Great Depression. I know that writers like to stray away from talking about people who are broke, on hard financial times, or homeless. It makes people uncomfortable. Well, you know what I say? Villain Motivation Ideas Taken From History

Not all villains are works of the imagination. And not all villains are as completely inhuman as we might prefer to think. Some people that we consider to be very, very bad had what could almost be seen as good reasoning behind their actions. Their deeds may have been bad, but maybe the thoughts from their heads can be used to tell some incredible stories. So here's four villain motivations taken straight from history.
